David Skarjune is a consultant for Word & Image providing solutions for content publishing and digital workflow for authors, artists, publishers, and organizations. Skarjune is a member of the Minnesota Book Publishers’ Roundtable, WordCamp Minneapolis organizing team, and Make WordPress.org Training team.
Skarjune has worked as a writer, editor, journalist, photographer, designer, analyst, developer, instructor, and online community builder—lots of hats! He began his career at the University of Minnesota as an art critic writing for the Minnesota Daily and then many local and national publications in the ’80s. He stumbled through the field of Information Technology in the ’90s. He began working with open source free software systems after the year 2000.
